Good old Days in Cape May

The summer of '78

Walking to the bar I could smell the fresh salt air on a cool crisp breeze in the black night - and beer. I'd walk home a mile after the bar closed. It was completely safe then.  I enjoyed walking that town from one end to the other... Didn't need to drive. Everything was there. At night , along the board walk the wind was brisk. Between the street lights, you could stare at the ocean and only be able to make out the small lines of white caps rhythmically crashing on the shore. It was a great sound to sleep to.
